First heard about the infamous Good Peoples Disco Cruise when disco bandit Lloydski mentioned he was spinning a boat party every last Friday of the summer--an all-disco vinyl set cruising through the harbor on NYC's largest clipper ship. I finally had a Friday night off to experience the party, hosted by Katie Longmyer of Good Peoples, so rounded up my squad and hopped aboard. Visiting photographer and friend (whom I worked with at Mark Seliger's studio last year), Jason Suder, took over a bit to help me grab some of the happenings. The monthly party sails for two and a half hours surrounded by the skyline with a full bar and Lloydski's set bumping through the speakers. Act fast because the last disco cruise of the summer is 27 August. Maximum capacity is only 100 people and tickets go fast, so don't sink on this opportunity. Get it?

This is just another "just for fun, it's Friday!" post. Last week we were slammed with shoots left to right and ended the week photographing for personal trainer Anita Golden's website to launch this fall. I channeled my days working at SELF Magazine and shot a four hour session of fitness moves. Styled once again by Zachary Robert, we were also fortunate to have Ralph Lauren's very own Aniekan Udo who assisted with Art Direction. After hours of lighting changes, baby oil applications, and two bags of candy, it was a successful day. So, Happy Friday, y'all. And, Anita, girl, how's my form?

Xanadude returned to its roots this week and the disco dancing madness took place above Public Assembly at the upstairs Loft space in Williamsburg. Some highlights of the night were celebrity judges Frankie Sharp, Max Steele, and the ever lovely Sylvia London overseeing the dance-off for free booze as well as resident DJ Deputy's installation. Scroll down n' git it.
