Having a local as a tour guide is always clutch while traveling. Cousin Christie took us on a morning hike up to the Hollywood sign to start Day 2 of the PCH road trip. A four mile trek through Griffith Park took about an hour and a half to reach the top. Dreams were soon shattered when we were informed that sitting on the Hollywood letters was illegal. The hike landed us behind the sign with a hazy, yet breathtaking view overlooking Los Angeles county. After a quick trek down and a mini photo opp, we checked LA/Hollywood off the list and continued our road trip along the Pacific Coast Highway.
Next leg: Santa Monica, Malibu, Cambria, Pacific Coast Highway
